Piston seal

The piston seal manufactured by DSH is used in hydraulic cylinders for fluid sealing. It can be located inside the cylinder head and seal the cylinder bore to prevent fluid flow through the cylinder head, which allows pressure to build up on one side of the piston, causing the cylinder to extend or retract.

The seal maintains a great sealing contact between the piston and the cylinder bore. The pressure differential caused by using our seal that acts on the piston to extend or retract the piston rod can effectively exceed 400 bar (5 800 psi). The pressure acting on the piston seal can increase the contact force between the piston seal and the cylinder surface. Moreover, our sealing surface has an anti-surface finish characteristic which is critical for proper sealing performance.

Our piston seals are usually divided into single acting (pressure acting on one side only) and a double acting (pressure acting on both sides) seals. It can even withstand pressure ≤60MPa. It has good physical and mechanical properties and high resilience. Its optional colors include black, green, brown, white, red, blue, gold, etc.

It can be used in a variety of media: hydraulic oil based on mineral oil, almost non-flammable hydraulic oil, water, air, etc. DSH seals promises a wide temperature range of -45 to +200℃ that is suitable for the seal.
